Christmas at Simultáneo: gastronomy, cocktails and live music
Simultáneo, the dining space of the Hotel Catalonia Barcelona Plaza, presents a festive program featuring musical performances, cocktail workshops, and special group menus for gatherings and special dates.
For those still considering organizing their company dinners and/or year-end gatherings, Simultáneo offers several culinary proposals with set menus (à la carte) or cocktail format, adaptable to all types of groups and hosted in their spacious and versatile venue. Additionally, there will always be a selection of holiday sweets.
Another new offering for group enjoyment is their cocktail workshops, with the first session scheduled for December 12 at 7:00 PM, promising to continue from January onwards. In this session, attendees will learn to prepare a special Christmas cocktail with the help of our bartenders. The price will be €18, and reservations can be made through Instagram (@simultaneoplaza) or via email at marketing@simultaneoplaza.com – limited spots available.
When it comes to great gastronomy during the holiday season, seafood is a must. From December 9 until the end of the month, Simultáneo will feature a seafood bar with oysters, red shrimp, clams, lobster, and much more. Be sure to ask about our cava or wine pairings to ensure the perfect match, as any excuse is good for celebrating.
Regarding live music, from December 23 to 27, there will be live performances of our favorite Christmas classics, performed by talented musicians and various groups. All of this will be accompanied by a festive culinary offering and Codorníu bubbles, making it even more special.
Concert schedule:
• December 23, 26, and 27 from 6 PM to 7 PM – Christmas concerts
• December 24-25 from 8:30 PM to 10 PM – Special Christmas concert
• December 31 from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM – Special New Year’s Eve band and orchestra
While the pre-Christmas concerts will help set the festive atmosphere, the concerts on December 24 and 25 will fully immerse those celebrating a Christmas meal at the hotel, as well as those wishing to spend the evening in the cozy space of Simultáneo with cocktails and enjoying the spirit of the season.
And, as the year must end on a high note, for those looking for a special way to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2024, the celebration on December 31 promises to be an unforgettable experience: a luxurious gastronomic menu with live musical performances at Simultáneo. The night will culminate with the traditional eating of the twelve grapes of luck from The Clock Terrace, the hotel’s rooftop, where guests can enjoy privileged views of the fireworks over Montjuïc mountain.
